Terms & Condition

  • Once a deposit and or confirmation by email, text message has been made the booking is deemed to be confirmed and your requested tour date has been reserved. Our refund policy comes into effect immediately.


  • Our preferred method of contact for all bookings is via email

  • Preferred method of payment is via net banking or Credit Card.

Please Note:

  • If a Tour is cancelled by Mount Tamborine Wine Tasting Tours for any reason, another day will initially be offered as an alternative or a full refund will be given.

Cancellation Policy:

Due to the extensive organisation involved with touring, a strict cancellation fee will be applicable to compensate for costs and lost revenue. We strongly recommend you take out travel insurance to cover against such charges. Once a booking is made/confirmed the following cancellation fees will apply:

Cancellations received within two weeks of tour departure will attract a 100% cancellation fee (includes no-shows). Cancellations prior will attract a 50% cancellation fee. Cancellation Fee is the total amount paid for the tour/s.


General Terms & Conditions:

  • Mount Tamborine Wine Tasting Tours will pick up and return guests to their accommodation/residence in the Surfers Paradise /Broadbeach area and Tamborine Mountain itself, free of charge. Any other pick up locations are subject to a fee.

  • Tours will run with a minimum of 2 guests and maximum of 50 guests. When booking tours, you are booking seats on tours which may have other passengers.  Should you wish to book a tour bus strictly for sole use of your group (i.e. no other passengers) you will be required to book and pay for all seats available for sale on that tour bus to guarantee your own driver and tour coach.

  • Photos and marketing
    You consent to us using images of you taken during the trip for advertising and promotional purposes in any medium we choose. You grant us a perpetual, royalty-free worldwide, irrevocable licence to use such images for publicity and promotional purposes.


  • Claims & complaints
    If you have a complaint about your tour, please inform your guide at the time in order that they can attempt to rectify the matter. If satisfaction is not reached through these means, then any further complaint should be put in writing to us within 7 days of the end of the tour.

  • Optional activities
    Optional activities not included in the tour price do not form part of the tour or this contract. You accept that any assistance given by your guide or local representative in arranging optional activities does not render us liable for them in any way. The contract for the provision of that activity will be between you and activity provider.

Limitation of liability
We contract/liaise with a network of companies, agencies and individuals to assist in the running of our tours as agent for these third parties. We are not responsible for the acts and omissions of these third parties.

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • Any liability for any loss, death, injury or damage which you may suffer (directly or indirectly) in connection with or arising out of your participation in a tour, or any breach of the Booking Conditions, is excluded;

  • You release us and our officers, employees, agents and representatives from any liability and expressly waive any claims you may have against us arising out of or in connection with your participation in a tour; and

  • Any condition or warranty which would otherwise be implied by law into these Booking Conditions (Implied Warranty), is excluded.

To the extent an Implied Warranty cannot be excluded, our liability in respect of the Implied Warranty is limited to (in our absolute discretion): (i) the provision of a similar tour to an equivalent value; or (ii) a refund of the total amount received by us from you in connection with your booking.

Any claim by you is excluded to the extent that it is for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profits or economic loss, however it arises, or for indirect, special, punitive or exemplary damages.

  • Authority on tour
    Our group tours are run by a guide. The decision of the guide is final on all matters likely to affect the safety or well-being of any person participating in the tour. If you fail to comply with a decision made by your guide or interfere with the well-being or mobility of the tour, the guide may direct you to leave the tour immediately, with no right of refund. We may also elect not to carry you on any future tours you might have booked. You must at all times comply with the laws, customs, foreign exchange and drug regulations of Australia, and you also agree to tour responsibly.

Food - No food or alcohol of any description is to be consumed inside our vehicles. 


Child Fares:

Child fares are available on most tours for passengers aged between 0 and 16 years inclusive. Prices available on application.

If you are unable to provide your own child seat restraint a fee of $25.00 per child seat restraint is applicable.


Gift Voucher: Gift vouchers have a six months expiry from the date of purchase. The voucher is non-refundable.


Once you have made a booking, it is understood that you have read and agree to our terms and conditions.

  • $500 cleaning fee for anyone being sick in/on vehicle/coach.


Travel Insurance:


Mount Tamborine Wine Tasting Tours recommends that travel insurance be taken to cover against cancellation fees, loss or damage to baggage and costs arising from illness or acts of god, e.g. cyclones, flooding, etc.

Updating of Terms and Conditions
The Company reserves the right to update and/or alter these terms and conditions at any time, and it is the Clients responsibility to be familiar with them. The latest terms and conditions can always be found on the Company website and will supersede any previous versions.
